The opening of our new boutique in Berlin, located at 29 Kudamm Strasse, was more than just the launch of a store. We aimed to encapsulate in one evening a story that has been with us for years, a story that reflects who we are. An esteemed Italian brand, deeply rooted in Emilia Romagna, a region renowned for high-end footwear. We design and create shoes, but that's not all. We infuse our work with a passion for beautiful things, and more. In everything we do, we strive to reveal what's behind the scenes, to go beyond the façade, and to showcase the backstage of our journey.

We love beauty, art, and life. We cherish our roots. This is why we wanted to bring to Berlin two symbols of our Italian excellence: artisan skill and the fusion of craftsmanship, memory, and art. We inaugurated our Berlin boutique by sharing with our guests, friends, and our newly-joined German staff, a part of our historical archive reinterpreted through the eyes of a young and talented Italian artist. Matete Martini's photographic works are a transfiguration of iconic models from our collection, spanning from the late 1970s to today. During a residency at our company, Matete Martini sought out, touched, selected, and photographed our iconic pieces. Her photos have become part of a traveling exhibition, which debuted in Milan in February and is now in Berlin.

But what is behind each shoe, connecting the past and the present? What ties our current, contemporary production to our past? There are equally talented women and men who think, design, and finally craft each piece with their hands. In Berlin, Tonino, from our company’s workshop, came to demonstrate how we make our shoes. He sat at an old cobbler's bench, surrounded by curious people, drawn by that 'know-how' which inevitably conveys emotion. A small part of that process showcases our Italian Excellence, which is much more than just a word, and makes us proud of what we do.
